About the Salisbury to Stonehenge Shuttle

We are a small, independent shuttle service run by the team at Caboose in Salisbury. Our goal is simple: make getting to Stonehenge from Salisbury easy, affordable and genuinely enjoyable.

Who we are

The Salisbury to Stonehenge Shuttle is operated by Caboose, a boutique bed and breakfast and specialty coffee shop located at 115 South Western Road, Salisbury, directly opposite the train station.

We have been welcoming guests to Salisbury for years and noticed the same problem every summer: visitors arriving at the station, phones in hand, trying to figure out how to get to Stonehenge. The public tour bus is good, but there was a clear gap for something smaller, more personal and easier to book.

The shuttle launches on 12 July 2026. We operate a private Mercedes Sprinter minibus with a maximum of 12 passengers per departure, running six times daily from directly outside our door. Every ticket includes a takeaway coffee from our barista and free luggage storage for the whole day.

Why we built this

Stonehenge is one of the most visited sites in the world. Salisbury is 9.5 miles away and directly connected to London, Southampton, Bath and Bristol by mainline train. Yet for visitors without a car, the options are limited to a single public bus or an expensive taxi.

We wanted to offer something better. A reserved seat so you are not waiting at a bus stop hoping there is room. A fixed price so you know exactly what you are paying. A familiar, trusted base at Caboose where you can leave your bags, drink a proper coffee, and start your day well before the 35-minute ride out to the plain.
